Our efficient and innovative engineering team will assist a customer's design and production department in achieving the most efficient and economic cutting solution. Laser cutting is a mostly thermal process in which a focused laser beam is used to melt material in a localised area. A co-axial gas jet is used to eject the molten material from the cut and leave a clean edge. A continuous cut is produced by moving the laser beam or work piece under CNC control.
For more detailed or precise work CNC laser or CNC punch press are utilised. Where heat sensitive materials such as foam, plastic, rubber glass etc is to be profiled then CNC waterjet is the preferred option. Laserform Crowley Engineering Ireland will cut complex patterns or designs to any size or shape such as engineered components or corporate logos with unequalled precision.
